Resources for Measuring Services and Outcomes in Head Start Programs Serving Infants and Toddlers

Head Start programs that serve pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers should develop a performance measurement plan. Program managers and evaluation staff can learn how to develop a plan that includes existing screening and assessment experiences required by the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Profiles of screening and assessment instruments and a checklist for choosing the correct screening and assessment tool are included.
